Town of Nipawin seeks Local Emergency Measures Coordinator
The contracted Emergency Measures Coordinator (EMC) shall be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of a Municipal Emergency Plan for the Town, develop a training and education program for the key players within the Plan, and test the Plan through a series of exercises.
In the event of a local emergency being declared by the Minister or by the Town, the EMC shall activate the Emergency Measures Plan and under the direction of the Town, oversee all activities undertaken in relation to the Plan.
This is a contracted position for approximately 8 hours per month.
