The Nipawin Bylaw Officer is dedicated to maintaining the safety, health, and well-being of our community by enforcing local bylaws and regulations. Our role is to ensure that all residents, businesses, and visitors adhere to the rules that aim to keep Nipawin a safe,  clean, and enjoyable place to live, work, and play.

The Bylaw Officer’s duties encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Enforcement of Local Bylaws: We enforce municipal bylaws related to property maintenance, noise, parking, animal control, and more. Our goal is to address violations in a fair and consistent manner.

Complaint Resolution: The Bylaw Officer responds to complaints from residents about bylaw violations. We investigate each report thoroughly and take appropriate action, whether it’s issuing warnings, fines, or working with residents to achieve compliance.

Public Safety and Order: We play a key role in ensuring public safety by enforcing regulations that protect our community, such as building codes, zoning laws, and health and safety standards.

If you witness a bylaw violation or have a concern, you can report it to the Bylaw Officer. We encourage residents to report issues such as:

Noise disturbances
