Nipawin Regional Park

Located less than three kilometres from the Town of Nipawin, the Nipawin & District Regional Park is home to over three hundred acres of scenic beauty. The park includes multiple activities for endless family-friendly activities. Whether you come for a day or stay all summer the Regional Park is a must experience in the Nipawin area. Bordering the park is the Tobin Lake portion of the Saskatchewan River, one of North America’s greatest walleye fisheries.  

The Nipawin Regional Park was established in 1965 and opened with 25 campsites and a picnic area in 1968.  At that time the park covered 296 acres and has since grown to be one of Saskatchewan’s best maintained parks.  The park is open annually from May 15th to October 12th, weather permitting.

To be as inclusive as possible the campsites include level gravel, and wheelchair accessible washrooms and showers. The Park also features a wheelchair accessible store/ visitor information. Site number fourteen can be reserved and booked as a handicap accessible site.

Campground

The Nipawin and District Regional Park campground includes 180 serviced sites, and RV lots. Sites include water hook up, a fire pit, picnic table, and different level amp electricity. There are larger sites that can accommodate large camping units and a boat, with .30-amp service with water and sewer. There is a storage compound for a boat if it does not fit at the site, accessible for $5/day, $25/week, or $50/month. Public Internet access is available.

Mini Golf

Mini-golf games can be purchased at the gatehouse booth when first entering the park. Many of the holes on the course depict different Nipawin and area destinations.

Chalet

For an indoor gathering, a chalet resides just off the playground and can be rented per day. The Chalet is newly renovated, and overlooks the Saskatchewan river, being an ideal spot for photographs and special occasions. The Chalet can be rented as a meeting space, or for reunions, family gatherings, weddings, and anniversaries. Amenities in the Chalet include a kitchen on the upper level, equipped with a fridge, stove, large dining or seating area. Washrooms are located in the lower level. Outside the Chalet includes a fire pit, and picnic table.

Rental Rates for the Chalet require 3 cheques

$50.00 holding fee to be refunded upon arrival

$125.00 per day when booking the Chalet

$75.000 damage deposit, refundable if the cleaning standards are met.

The Red Barn

Follow the road just a little further down from minigolf and you will find the large red barn. The barnyard includes animals such as bunnies, goats, chickens, and even peacocks!

Houseboats
